DEMANUELE. On Wednesday, November 14, at St Catherine’s Home, Attard, MARIA of Rabat, widow of Enrico, aged 97, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Charles and his wife Joan, Sylvia, Joseph and his wife Maria, Paul and his wife Roseanne, and Rita and her husband Louis, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sisters, her in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Catherine’s Home, Attard, tomorrow, Thursday, November 15, at 1.30pm, for St Dominic’s church, Rabat, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. FENECH. On November 12, at her residence, MARIA THERESA, widow of Francis X., aged 89, passed away peacefully. She leaves to mourn her loss her sons Mario and his wife Marie, Richard and Yvette, her grandchildren Marilou and her husband Massimo, Rafel and Sarah, her great-grandson Diego, her sisters Josephine and Matilda, their spouses, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Mass for the repose of her soul will be concelebrated tomorrow at 8.30am at Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
GAFFIERO. On Sunday, November 11, at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, KARL, son of Claude and Louise, passed away peacefully at the age of 53 comforted by the rites of Holy Church, after a long illness bravely borne. He leaves to mourn his loss his parents, his sister Karen and her husband Malcolm Miller, his niece Emma and her husband Christian Sullivan, his nephews Mark and Max Miller, his grandnephews Sebastian and Jack Sullivan, his uncles, aunts, cousins, close friends and other relatives. Mass præsente cadavere will be said today, Wednesday, November 14, at 2pm, at St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. On November 14, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH of Msida, residing in Gżira, former deputy mayor and active councilor, Gżira Local Council, and former employee at Planning Authority, Malta, aged 72, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Marthese, his son Jason and his wife Jacqueline, his daughter Romina and her husband John Carabott, his grandchildren Nikolai, Miguel and Leanne, his brothers and his sister, in-laws, their respective spouses, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Friday, November 16, at 8am, for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Gżira, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. PACE. On November 14, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIO of Fgura, residing in Buġibba, aged 67, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Carmen, his children Titania and Norbert and his wife Francella, his grandchildren Carla and Matteo, his brothers, his brothers and sisters-in-law, their respective families, all other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Thursday, November 15, at 130pm, for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Fgura, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Żebbuġ cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
