A sacred art exhibition entitled Intimations, by Gozitan artist Aaron Formosa, is being held at the Banca Giuratale, Victoria.

The main theme behind the exhibition is human existence in the light of faith or Christ – the spiritual light that illuminates the darkness of human existence.

The paintings depict scenes such as the nativity of Christ, Christ raising the daughter of Jairus from the dead, Christ as the Good Shepherd; Marian themes like the marriage of the Virgin and Mary’s Assumption into heaven; and others like the call of Karmni Grima.

The exhibition runs at the Banca Giuratale, Independence Square, Victoria, until November 25. Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 2.30pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to noon.
