• The Friends of the Sick and Elderly in Gozo are organising a charity sale at the private road between Gozo Colleges off Fortunato Mizzi Street, today from 7.30am to 1pm. The cost is €10 per car space. One can pay on the day.

• To mark the fifth anniversary since the inauguration of the Heritage Park project, the Ggantija Temples in Xagħra will today be open for free from 9am to 5pm. Guided tours will take place at 9.30am, 11am, 1pm and at 3pm.

• A blood donation session will be held at Xewkija District Health Centre today from 8am to 1pm.

• Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (12A) will be screened at Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30pm.

• The traditional Fjakkolata – Celebration of Light – is taking place today at Għar Ilma Hill, Santa LuĊija, from 7pm onwards. A folk night will also be taking place at St LuĊija Square. The musical concert – Symphony of Lights – with the St Gregory Band under the direction of Mro Mark Gauci, will take place in the same square on Friday at 8.30pm.

• The Malta Department Psychological Association, in collaboration with the Psychology Department at Gozo General Hospital, is holding a seminar on working with complex trauma by international guest speaker Dr Ursula Wirtz at the Gozo Ministry in Victoria on Friday between 10am and 4pm.

• A public lecture, entitled Early Modern Rabat, Continuity and Change by Godwin Vella, will be held at Il-Ħaġar Museum, St George’s Square, Victoria, on Saturday at 11am.
