For the 2018 Eyes Collection, Lucia Pica, Chanel’s global creative makeup and colour designer, drew inspiration from the magic of night, an infinitely intriguing symbol of freedom.

Elegant, intuitive and on the go, Chanel presents the first eyeshadow pen that does it all – the Stylo Ombre et Contour. Its silky retractable tip can be used thin or thick.

With its deeply pigmented tip and creamy texture, it colours the waterline, while ensuring extreme comfort. Applied in a block colour, it instantly diffuses a vibrant halo over the eyelid.

Revamped by Pica, two new Les 4 Ombres palettes offer even more effects for endless layering. Mystère et Intensité offers a coppery brown with glints of gold, a peach-pink, a deep matte black and an intense red-violet. Splendeur et Audace offers a burnt orange with coppery shimmers, a scintillating emerald green, a deep matte black and a peacock feather blue.

Ombre Premiere is creamy or powdery, matte or satiny… Every version in this collection captures the night’s shadows and the light that suddenly bursts from it.

Chanel has dreamed up an eyeshadow base – La Base Ombres a Paupieres – that evens out and smoothes the eyelid and enhances the make-up result. Fresh and lightweight, its gel texture contains cornflower water and glycerin and it blends invisible wrinkle-filling soft focus powders with a velvety blurring elastomer.

With its volatile oils, it becomes one with the eyelid, leaving an extremely thin and perfectly dry film on the surface. An elastomer transforms powder eyeshadows into an evenly coloured veil, while an absorbent powder prevents cream eyeshadows from smudging throughout the day. On the skin, even the most vibrant colours withstand every test and stay put until make-up removal.
