When is this cat-and-mouse game between Daphne Caruana Galizia’s activists and those who oppose the memorial of the slain journalist at the Great Siege monument, in Valletta going to end?

For heaven’s sake, stop this childish behaviour by adults who should know better.

On one side there are those who continue their never-ending remembrance for Daphne and on the other side there are those who cannot stand the restoring of the memorial every time things are removed.

If the situation is not controlled, both sides are on a collision course.

The activists are clearly overdoing it. In Sliema, for example, someone’s going nuts over Daphne’s assassination because, every now and then, he/they hang notes on trees, walls etc. A big sign in Tower Road reads ‘Who killed Daphne?’

Normally, when something similar happens, a makeshift memorial would not last for more than a week or two. So, when is this madness going to end?
