The St Joseph Band Club of Għaxaq is organising a Maltese food and wine festival today and tomorrow.

One will be able to taste horse meat, local pork, home-made ravioli and a Maltese platter, including peppered goats cheese, Maltese sausages, snails, bigilla (brown bean dip), arjoli (a local dip served with snails), olives and ħobż biż-żejt (Maltese bread with tomato spread and other ingredients). There will also be a selection of wines.

Entertainment will be provided by DBanned featuring Ozzy Lino, The Crowns and SterjoTipi.

The event is being held at St Roque Square, Għaxaq, today and tomorrow between 7pm and midnight. Entrance is free.
