Mountaineering and adventure: talk by Italian Cultural Institute
Speaker is sport and work psychologist
The Italian Cultural Institute is holding a talk about the Dolomites, a mountain range in northeastern Italy that takes its name from the carbonate rock dolomite. The mountains cover three provinces: Belluno, South Tyrol and Trentino.
Declared a Unesco World Heritage site in 2009, the Dolomites host Bellunesi National Park and many other regional parks.
Guest speaker Paolo Andriotto, trainer at Dale Carnegie Italia and a sport and work psychologist who loves mountaineering, parachuting, paragliding and all sorts of extreme sports, will also be talking about climbing, the search for adventure, psychology of mountaineering, parallelisms between mountains, everyday life and what they can teach us.
Everybody is welcome and entrance is free of charge. The event will be taking place tomorrow at 6.30pm at the Italian Cultural Institute, Valletta.
