Modern Music Days, forming part of Evenings on Campus, will be presenting a programme of 20th century and contemporary music featuring dance, video art and electronic music today week at 9pm at the University’s Valletta campus.
Modern Music Days is a concert series initiated in 2014 as part of the Valletta 2018 culture programme. This special edition presents some of the best works within the series in one performance.
The programme includes music for percussion ensemble, a combination of video art and live piano works, electronic music and a new version of the 1917 historical ballet Parade with music by Erik Satie and costume design by Pablo Picasso. Modern Music Days is organised in collaboration with the Manoel Theatre, the Malta Association for Contemporary Music and the Valletta 2018 Foundation.
The venue is accessible to wheelchair users and suitable for those aged 10+.
