Coming off two very strong editions, Glitch Festival has established itself as one of Europe’s major electronic festivals. The event returns this month with its third and biggest edition to date, as electronic music enthusiasts from all over the world once again gather at the gates of what has been dubbed as “the mystical House-and-Techno fortress” for two solid days of top names and sonic adventures.

This year, Glitch Festival returns to its home at Gianpula fields, framed against the iconic skyline of Mdina. This year, the event is expected to attract around 2,500 tourists from over 60 countries including UK, France, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Russia and more.

A rare live appearance by legendary electro figures Dopplereffekt will take place

Hailed by Mixmag as a “House and Techno paradise”, the festival will feature multiple stages – from rooftop pool parties to a secret, ancient vault, and promises a diverse line-up of industry titans, including Nina Kraviz, Jeff Mills, Floorplan, Rødhåd, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Hunee, Amelie Lens, Charlotte De Witte, Peggy Gou and Dax J.

For those willing to explore, a rare live appearance by electro figures Dopplereffekt will take place at the Vaults, together with Gesloten Cirkel and a curated list of master selectors from Young Marco, Objekt, Call Super, OR:LA, Volvox, Alexander Robotnick, Jupiter Jax and many more.

Glitch Festival takes place on August 14, 15 and 16. Tickets and more information are available online.
