Peter Greenaway's films have run unmistakably against the template cinematic practice, his artistic productions elevating him to cult status.
His interviews are equally unconventional - in Wednesday's edition of Times Talk he talks about the "death" of cinema, religion and whether he intends forging ahead with his pledge to kill himself at 80.
Mr Greenaway was invited as part of the Valletta Film Festival which featured his career in the documentary The Greenaway Alphabet.
The full interview will be uploaded on Times of Malta on Wednesday.
