This year Air Malta has successfully increased its sales by 30 per cent and to celebrate this milestone the Maltese airline launched a discount of up to 30 per cent on fares for its Go Smart product. The offer is open on 23 routes for a week until tomorrow.

Commenting on this promotion Paul Sies, Air Malta’s chief commercial officer, said: “We are really pleased that we have sold 30 per cent more seats over last year. Our growth strategy of offering more frequencies to our established routes and the introduction of 19 new routes across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East is making the Maltese Islands more accessible and attractive for leisure and business travellers. This achievement signifies our full commitment and continuous support to the local tourism industry and other economic interests by increasing connectivity to the Maltese Islands through the introduction of new scheduled services to major airport hubs.”

The 30 per cent discount is applicable on selected flights to and from Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris Charles De Gaulle, Paris Orly, Lyon, Marseille, Tunis, Casablanca, Tel Aviv, London Gatwick, Munich, Frankfurt, Catania-Vienna, Fiumicino, Catania, Linate, Venice, Palermo, Comiso, London Southend, Cagliari, Catania-London Southend and Cagliari-London Southend.

This offer is also valid for travel in the popular months of summer, from June 1 to August 31 on all Go Smart fares. Air Malta’s Go Smart Fare offers great value for money since it includes a free 23 kilos checked-in luggage.

Seats are subject to availability. The discount is valid through Air Malta’s website only at www.airmalta.com.
