A one-hour promenade performance in Kalkara, titled Jean, Where Memories Live, will see the audience following a woman named Jean, her memories and the man who did not love her.

Following is an excerpt from the script: “My name is Jean. I run, I ran everyday until I had to stop.

“I have children. Two. Two daughters. I like lipstick, burnt orange not pink, gold shoes and eggs. Just not poached or fried.

“And I have dementia.”

The performance is produced by the Manoel Theatre, is written and directed by Laura Wyatt O’Keeffe and is adapted and performed by the Toi Toi Collective.

The performance, recommended for those aged 16 and over, is taking place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Esplora Interactive Science Centre in Kalkara at 9pm. Since it is a promenade piece, people need to walk around and stand. Contact the booking office directly on 2124 6389 if wheelchair booking is required.
