Global College Malta has appointed Anthony Bonello, MBA (MIM), as its new business development manager. He will assume responsibilities with immediate effect.

Having been part of the Global College Malta team for the past four years, Mr Bonello started his journey within Global College Malta as senior administration manager. During this time, he led the team in achieving the company’s goals in recruiting valid candidates and students. The school currently teaches more than 200 students, who are enrolled in both undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered on a part-time basis.

Global College Malta is one of the top private institutions of higher education in Malta, offering a range of European-accredited degree courses, and is part of Study World Education Holding Group, which has institutions worldwide.

Its campus is located at Smart City Malta.

“Global College Malta has managed to build a strong foundation,” said Mr Bonello. He explained that the college had embarked on a journey that looks forward to a prosperous future. The plan is to further develop the existing courses so that students have more to choose from.

Furthermore, the college emphasises the support offered to students, believed to be the fulcrum of the everyday business.

“Our ultimate goal is to provide our current and future students with the necessary educational tools to succeed in their professional lives”, Mr Bonello added.

Mr Bonello enjoys over 40 years of experience at managerial level. He started his career in the family business where he worked for 16 years and was later employed within the private sector. He started in the sales department and was eventually promoted to general manager, a post he kept for 18 years.

He then moved to the public sector where he was HR corporate service manager for one of the largest corporations. Over the past four years he dedicated his knowledge and experience to Global College Malta, not simply as a senior administration manager but also as a lecturer in the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Mr Bonello was also a lecturer at Mcast, as well as at other private education institutions in Malta.
