Senior Trust Officer

A company that provides wealth management advice to its clients, is currently looking for a Senior Trust Officer to join their team. 

Job description:

  • Enhance and maintain client relationships for own caseload, ensuring a quality service
  • Management, supervision and coordination of daily administration of trusts and companies including taking full mandate responsibility with minimum supervision
  • Taking fiduciary decisions on the mandates assigned within the guidelines provided by the company
  • Plan and prioritise own workload and that of immediate colleagues to ensure that target/deadlines are achieved
  • Ensure that client requests are dealt with in accordance with the Company service standards with precision
  • Build and maintain own technical knowledge in order to keep up to date and relevant
  • Be proactive in recognizing and pursuing opportunities for improving procedures and controls

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills, professional and excellent behavior; strong customer orientation
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in administration of trust and corporate structures
  • Experience working with trust officers/fiduciary specialists, investment Companies and Lawyers
  • Ability to articulate positions and influence decision makers and management
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • In possession of a University Degree ideally in Banking & Finance or similar
  • STEP or any other Trust & Corporate Services related qualifications would be considered an asset
