Finance Officer (Banking)

A well established bank is searching to employ a Finance Officer to support the operations of its Accounts Payable division. The duties and responsibilities include:

  • Assessment and posting of supplier invoices
  • Invoice validation and payment authorisation
  • Supplier payment and reconciliations
  • Compilation, upload of month-end accruals to general ledger
  • Petty cash reconciliations
  • Assisting with interim audit 

Skills and Qualifications required:

  • Diploma for Accounting Technicians ( AAT) considered an asset
  • Prior experience in a similar role considered an asset
  • Precision and attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel, and overall Microsoft Office - Microsoft Dynamics Navision considered an asset
