Accounts Executive - Law Firm

One of our clients is seeking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to work in the company’s internal accounting unit.

Duties and Responsibilities:
 

  • The successful candidate will be responsible to coding and recording supplier invoices
  • Carrying out monthly supplier reconciliations in preparation for the monthly payment run
  • Creating and updating supplier and customer details,
  • Circulating of age debtors report
  • Maintaining an accurate record of client funds including disbursements,
  • Updating daily bank transactions
  • Depositing incoming cheques and circulating daily incoming funds to all partners
  • Issuing cheques and processing of bank transfers for approval,
  • Filing documents, and other ad-hoc tasks to support the Financial Controller of the Company
  • Candidates having experience of knowledge in Navision will be given preference

Skills:

  • Must be Smart, Energetic and Motivated
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounting role
  • Candidates should be in the process of obtaining their ACCA qualifications
  • Have excellent English language communication skills
  • Be highly organized, disciplined and possess strong IT skills.
