Accounts Clerk

An international investment company in Malta are seeking to recruit an accounts clerk who will be assisting the accounts executive and reporting to the finance manager. 

Job Duties

  • Updating incoming receipts, outgoing payments and journal entries
  • Communicating with Banks and third parties. As well as with other staff members as required
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly bank reconciliations and other control reconciliations
  • Filing of documents daily
  • Assist in the implementation of internal controls and ensure such controls are being followed
  • Tracing of member’s funds
  • Updating of LOE and SLAs

Job Requirements

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Numerate Literate
  • Computer literate
  • Preferably ‘A’ Level standard in Accounts
  • Familiar with the use of spreadsheets and accounting systems
  • A minimum of 3 year experience in a similar position
