The Gozo Ministry organised the annual spring show at Villa Rundle Gardens in Victoria. The show consisted of an extensive and varied exhibition of cut flowers and indoor plants. Around 19 participants took part in a five-category flower arrangement competition. The first prize in the Spring Blossom category was won by Josephine Azzopardi, while the second and third prizes went to Jacqueline Azzopardi and Jolyn Portelli respectively. Schoolchildren were encouraged to create butterflies made from recycled items. The Gozo Community Choir gave a musical concert. Gozo Minister Justyne Caruana presented money gifts to the winners.
