Inċiżjoni – An Exhibition of Etchings is a collection of works by 12 artists from the Etching Studio at the Malta School of Art.

The exhibition explores various visual themes and presents the public with an array of etching techniques including intaglio, where an impression is pulled from an image that has been bitten into a metal plate through the corrosive action of an acid.

This exhibition aims to offer a thorough understanding of this traditional printmaking technique, where design, creativity and technique complement each other.

Inċiżjoni is showing at the Malta Society of Arts, Palazzo De La Salle, Valletta until Thursday and is open weekdays from 9am to 7pm and on Saturday from 9.30am to 1.30pm.
