The following are the top stories in Malta's newspapers on Thursday.

Times of Malta leads with the news that the Gozo Channel is expected to start
operating four vessels in a few weeks’ time.

In a separate story, two survivors of a Birżebbuġa drive-by shooting claim they have not been followed up by the police and are still dealing with traumatic flashbacks of the fatal incident.

The Malta Independent refers to a court story about police inaction on domestic violence reports, after a woman was charged with grievously injuring her husband with a kitchen knife.

In-Nazzjon quotes PN leader Adrian Delia saying the PN was committed to improve the quality of life and defend life, while another article quotes national data "confirming" that the cost of living increased in April.

l-orizzont leads with the claim that 35,000 jobs are being threatened by what it says was the PN MEPs' vote in favour of tax harmonisation within the EU.
