Two main roads to Naxxar closed tonight

Final phases of Technopark junction and Tal-Balal road projects

There will be no access to Naxxar from the Mosta Technopark roundabout, or vice versa tonight because of road works.

Infrastructure Malta said the area will be closed for traffic betwenn 8pm and 5am for overnight works as it starts the final phase of a €1m upgrade of the junction.

Also closed will be the Naxxar end of Tal-Balal Road, to and from San Ġwann. Infrastructure Malta said workers will be laying asphalt as part of this road's reconstruction. Officers will be in the area to guide drivers to alternative routes and for other assistance in case of difficulties.

Tal-Balal Road is being widened to a four-lane road with increased safety systems, a new pavement, reinforced road foundations and other improvements.
