BLOW. On May 14, at Mater Dei Hospital, RONALD DAVID of Paola, aged 85, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Doris, his children Valerie and Derick and his partner Victoria, his beloved granddaughter Jasmine, his sisters Nellie and Winifred, his brothers and sisters-in-law, other in-laws, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Thursday, May 16, at 7.45am for Christ the King parish church Paola, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
CALLEJA. On May 12, at Holy Family Home, Naxxar, GIUSA, aged 94, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Loved and remembered by the children of her late sister Giovanna Riolo and their families, the children of her late brother Charlie Calleja and their families, other relatives and friends. Funeral Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at the Basilica of the Assumption, Mosta, tomorrow, Thursday, May 16, at 8.30am and shall be followed by interment in the family grave at Mosta Cemetery. Donations to Holy Family Home, Naxxar, would be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
CUTAJAR. On May 12, at Mater Dei Hospital, GIOVANNA of Lija, widow of Philip, aged 94, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Lucy, Anna, Maria, Peter, Salvu and Martha, their spouses, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Thursday, May 16, at 2pm for Our Saviour parish church, Lija, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Lija cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
SCERRI. On May 14, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIA VITTORIA, aged 93, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Mother Church. Adored aunt to Vinicio and his wife Brigida and Loredana, widow of Arturo Buttigieg, who deeply mourn her, together with her great nieces Laura and Alessandra, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Thursday, May 16, at 9am for St Augustine’s parish church, Valletta, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. We thank God for her life and love.
TABONE – JOE, aged 79, has passed away to eternal life in Albany, USA, on May 14. He leaves to mourn him his beloved wife Sharon, his daughter Ashley and husband Don and their children, his son Sean and his in-laws as well as his brothers Edwin and Edith and their children, Louis and Marthese and their children and his sister Rosemary. Also sorely missed by his many in-laws in Malta including Lara and her partner Joseph and Carl and his wife Krista and their respective children Manuela and Kylee and Max and Kay. May the Divine Mercy in whom we trust welcome him to eternal life in Heaven.
