Obituary

ABELA. On May 5, PAUL, aged 99, widower of Annie, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his children Josette and her husband Joe Caruana, Rita and her husband Manuel Jones. His dearest grandchildren Fr Christopher Caruana O.P., Fr Bernard Caruana O.P., Paul and his wife Angele Jones, Sarah wife of GianLuca Callus, his great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said on Wednesday, May 8 at 8.30am, at St Venera Parish Church. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

CACHIA. On May 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, HARRY, aged 86, widower of Rosemary, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his irreplaceable loss his children Henry and his wife Joelle, Stephen and his wife Dorianne, Bernadette and her husband Stephen Hall and Julian; his dearest grandchildren Christina and Malcolm, Michael and Aimee, John and Michelle, Marta, Klara, Janine, Michael and Francesca; his dear brothers Josie and his wife Monica, Victor and his wife Tessa, Tony and his wife Joyce and Paul and his wife Louise; his sister-in-law Lydia Attard Montalto, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital, today, Monday, May 6, at 1.30pm for Ibrag parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Life Cycle (Malta) Foundation will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
