At Eternity’s Gate, Julian Schnabel’s biographical film on artist Vincent van Gogh, will be screened at Spazju Kreattiv Cinema, St James Cavalier, Valletta, today at 7.30pm.

Willem Dafoe was nominated for an Oscar for his mesmerising interpretation of van Gogh as a complex, troubled soul, during his time living in Arles and Auvers-sur-Oise. We follow the artist as he seeks a new visual language and struggles to make sense of himself and his connection to those around him, including Paul Gaugain (performed by Oscar Isaac) and a confiding priest (Mads Mikkelsen).

At Eternity’s Gate will be screened today and on Tuesday at 7.30pm. It is certified 12A. To watch a trailer, visit https://www.kreattivita.org/en/event/at-eternitys-gate. For tickets, visit https://ticketenginex.kreattivita.org/?eventname=At+Eternitys+Gate.
