The following is a list of forthcoming concerts and recitals taking place as part of the seventh edition of the Malta International Music Festival, which opened last Monday and runs until May 10.

Today, Elena Bashkirova from Germany will perform a grand piano recital entitled Poetic Tone Pictures at Robert Samut Hall, Floriana, at 8pm.

Tomorrow, South Korean celloist Meehae Ryo accompanied by Russian pianist Anna Malikova will perform Cello Impressions at Robert Samut Hall, Floriana, at 8pm.

Also tomorrow, the ‘Academy of Soloists’ State orchestra from Kazakstan, conducted by Mikhail Kirchhoff from Russia and accompanied by Russian pianist Philipp Kopachevsky, will perform Alexey Shor’s Travel Notebook for Piano and Orchestra at the Mediterranean Conference Centre (MCC), Valletta, at 8pm.

On Friday, the same orchestra, this time conducted by Conrad van Alphen from the Netherlands and accompanied by pianist Julia Zilberquit will perform Concerto Extravaganza at the Robert Samut Hall, Floriana, at 8pm.

On Saturday, the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Sergey Smbatyan from Armenia and accompanied by violinist Ji Young Lim from South Korea, will perform a concert entitled Magical Violin at the MCC, Valletta, at 8pm.

On Sunday, Austrian pianist Ingolf Wunder will perform a grand piano recital entitled Piano Wonder at Robert Samut Hall, Floriana, at 8pm.
