Top Maltese female bowler Sue Abela added another medal to her illustrious international bowling career with a brilliant second place finish at the 8thTrack ISBT Open in France.

After qualifying directly to the finals with her fourth place finish in the qualifiers, with a 202 scratch average, she went on to play a brilliant 208 scratch average in the round robin, where she won fourof her seven direct clashes.

This was enough to get her to second place as the gold medal went to the home lady, Jacqueline Faure, who managed to win all seven direct clashes that gave her more bonus points than Abela.
