The Santa Maria Accordion Band will be performing during a concert organised by Philip Agius in Guardamangia on Tuesday at 7pm. 

This concert is to celebrate World Accordion Day as well as the band’s 25th anniversary. 

The band, which was formed by its director and conductor Marthese Busuttil Cassar, plays a variety of classical, folk, Spanish, Maltese, English, Italian and polka music.

The members will be playing Italian Suite, O sole Mio, Come back to Sorrento, Santa Lucia, Funiculi funicular, Tarantella Napoletana, The Sound of Silence, Libertango and William Tell Overture. Guest solo accordionists will also be taking part. 

Entrance to the concert is free. Seats will be given according to availability in the hall.
