Why would people not want to halve the amount of time it takes them to get to work, the president of the Bicycle Advocacy Group, Michelle Attard Tonna, told Times Talk.

Having taken up cycling herself one and a half years ago, she now uses a pedelec to get to work – but believes that unless there is a safe infrastructure – and disincentives – the number of people ditching their cars for bicycles will not change dramatically.
