Times of Malta says the man accused of murdering his mother and sister had planned the crime down to the very last detail, building his own makeshift gun and buying a pressure washer to clean up the mess. In another story, it says the unidentified shooter who killed a man and injured two others on Saturday night used a semi-automatic pistol but it is still too early to be certain of the motive.

The Malta Independent quotes Kristy Debono and Hermann Schiavone saying that they did not set up the meeting with the owner of 17 Black.
