Mosta and Floriana gave life to an entertaining match that ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw at the Hibs Stadium, on Saturday.

Mosta ran the show early on, as they took a two-goal lead inside the opening 17 minutes.

The Blues found the net on 13 minutes when Davy N’Guessan found an unmarked Roach at the edge of the area and the latter let fly a low drive into the far corner to put Mosta ahead.

Five minutes later, Demir Imeri stunned Floriana goalkeeper Ini Akpan with a 40-metre volley. 

Nonetheless, Floriana pulled one back through Kristian Keqi on the 38th minute when he capitalised on an Emerson Marcelina’s flick to head home. 

The Greens made their pressure count on 57 minutes.

Brandon Paiber whipped in a delightful ball onto Arthur Oyama and the Brazilian fullback headed the ball home for his fourth goal of the season. 

The Greens completed the comeback on the 79th minute when substitute Terence Vella capitalised on a Paiber cross to make it 3-2 for Floriana.

Yet, there was still time for more drama when James Brincat, who came on in the second half, pounced on a short clearance to slot the ball past Akpan.

Mosta's Akeem Roach was named BOV Player of the Match.
