On Friday evening, Heritage Malta is organising a guided tour of Għar Dalam and Borġ in-Nadur, Birżebbuġa, and a cultural walk between the two prehistoric sites, which are around 500 metres apart.

Borġ in-Nadur is situated on high grounds between two valleys, overlooking St George’s Bay, Birżebbuġa. It was excavated by renowned archaeologist Margaret Murray in the 1920s, and his studies yielded interesting information about Maltese prehistory which had until then remained problematic, including the differences between the Temple Period and the Bronze Age.

After the tour at Borġ in-Nadur, participants will walk back to Għar Dalam where they will be served finger food and refreshments. A tour will follow both at the prehistoric cave and at the museum, which houses a Victorian style exhibition and a didactic display.

The tours to both sites will be held by their curator.

The tour/cultural walk starts at 6.30pm at Għar Dalam. For more information and tickets visit www.heritagemalta.org or visit any Heritage Malta site or museum.
