CINI. On April 1, at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, ELVIRA, widow of Loris, of Valletta and residing in Paola, aged 87, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Joseph and his wife Rosette, Maria and her husband Michael Fleri Soler, Raymond, Tonio and his wife Romina, Desmond and his wife Ramona, her grandchildren and their respective spouses, great-grandchildren, her brothers Frans and Albert, her sister Marion, in-laws, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Wednesday, April 3, at 1.15pm for St Anthony church, Għajn Dwieli, Paola, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
GRECH. On April 2, at Mater Dei Hospital, VICTOR, aged 68, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Carmen, his children Jason and his wife Stefania, Fiona and her husband Steve Cuschieri, Priscilla and her husband Chris Dimech, Fabian and Raffaella, grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Thursday, April 4, at 1.30pm, for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Balluta, St Julian’s, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
HOLLIDAY – JOSEPH (Joe). Born Wigton, Cumbria, UK, 19-2-1938, residing in Malta for 26 years. Passed away on March 15. Joe was loved very much by all his family and is missed so much by his wife Olive; children Joseph, John and wife Sue, Philip and wife Kath, Jane and husband Richard; our grandchildren, James, Louise, William, Amy, Rachel, Laura, Isaac, George and Alice; Joe’s sister Molly; cousins Mary and Janet; his nephews and nieces; sister-in-law Gill and Charles; brother-in-law Stephen and Sheila, brother-in-law Malcolm; many friends and relations. A service of remembrance will be held on Monday, April 8, 2019, at 7.30pm, at Palm Springs Christian Fellowship, 16, Hi Tech House, Triq il-Mina ta’ Hompesch, Żabbar
MICALLEF. On April 2, in Pickering, Canada, Fr FRANK V. MICALLEF, SJ, aged 87, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brethren in the Society of Jesus in Malta and Canada, his sister-in-law Maria, widow of his brother Vincent, nephew, relatives and friends in Malta and Canada. May he rest in the peace of the Risen Lord.
