Centurion Fight Championship, which introduced Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) on the local scene in 2016, will be hosting their fifth event – The Last Emperor – at De La Salle College, Vittoriosa, on April 6.

Since Centurion Fight Championship is the platform for both local and international fighters, the contenders in the tournament will be travelling to Malta from France, Italy, Switzerland, Uzbekistan and the US.

Apart from the international fighters, Centurion Fight Championship will field fighters in different groups, participating mainly in a tournament besides pro and semi-pro fights.

The highlight of the championship will be the Four-Man Tournament, a new concept to Maltese audiences.

Isaac Nappa and Enrico Manicaro will be facing Steven Schmid, from Switzerland, and Italian Alessio Scalavino, respectively.

Centurion Fight Championship will also have four new fighters making their debut at The Last Emperor next month as they seek to keep promoting the discipline on our shores.

The event will be broadcast live on RAI Sports channel, the organisers said.

On the day of the championship, doors at De La Salle open at 6pm and the first fight is scheduled for 8pm.
