Prime Minister Joseph Muscat was quoted as telling a herd of sheep at Siġġiewi on March 24 that today, more than ever before, Malta is a symbol of peace, equality and a nation that welcomes everyone, except, of course, the boatload of refugees he kept at sea last Christmas. He also noted that Malta had always been this way and would remain as such.

Now I see where comrade Eddy Privitera gets his senseless rambling from. Maybe the Prime Minister has one of those mirrors like in the fairy tale. Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the most wonderful of all?

Oh, you are, almighty Jozeff, replies the Mosta mirror man.

Classic what planet is he on, with multistoreys being approved on a daily basis, selling Mistra to the rich along with passports, more and more low-paid Turkish being bought in to do the labour. Something is surely clouding his vision. I suppose that’s the sand he has his head in.
