Alessio Tacchinardi sees a young Alessandro Del Piero in Moise Kean, Juventus' latest prodigy who is grabbing all headlines in Italy.
Tacchinardi, the former Juventus midfielder with whom he won the UEFA Champions League, was in Malta this week on an invitation by the Juventus Club Vero Amore.
Asked about the growth of 19-year-old Kean, Tacchinardi said that the youngster reminds him of Del Piero, whom he saw transforming from a young player to a world-class star.
"I remember joining Juventus and being alongside a 19-year-old Alessandro Del Piero," Tacchinardi told the Times of Malta.
"Kean is a very talented player and I think even if Cristiano Ronaldo will be absent against Ajax, Juventus have the opportunity to bank on a player like him because even in the few minutes he played against Atletico Madrid he did really well."
Full quotes from Alessio Tacchinardi will be published in the coming days on the Times of Malta newspaper.
