Times of Malta says that according to a university-wide survey, the majority of University students are against the legalisation of abortion. In another story, the newspaper says Malta and several other European Union countries faced a backlash in the European Parliament on Monday after they were labelled by various MEPs as being tax havens.

The Malta Independent says the law prohibited the Commissioner for Standards in Public Life from looking into the situation of the Opposition leader.
