To suit their agenda, some people, seem to negate the course of historical fact. They try to wipe out the fact that this little island of ours was dominated by foreign powers throughout most of the course of its existence. In fact, every tract on earth was dominated by foreign powers at one time or another.

Only extremists would try to obliterate symbols as reminders of past history. Should this be the case, then we have to change our flag as it was handed down to our forefathers by a Norman and also remove any eight-pointed cross since this is a symbol of the Knights. 

We should destroy anything that reminds us of Roman rule. Should foreign countries follow this line of thinking, then Australia and New Zealand should remove the Union Jack from their flag as this flag was the flag of their oppressors.

England should remove any fleur-de-lys from its coat-of-arms as this is the symbol of the French occupation and remove the “Fid Def” from their coins since this symbol reminds them that their country once was Catholic. This homage was bestowed on Henry VIII by the then Pope for his writings in defence of Catholicism. Likes of ISIS would destroy anything that is not in line with their thinking.
