The Water Services Corporation said on Tuesday it is taking action after one of its workers was seen sporting a swastika on the back of his high-visibility vest near the Addolorata Cemetery.
As the picture of the worker's controversial yellow vest quickly did the rounds on social media the corporation said that the matter had been immediately referred to the HR department, which will be taking all appropriate actions in line with the collective agreement.
"The corporation regrets any such incidents which if confirmed go against its values and the general behaviour of its workforce which renders an exceptional service across the islands," it said in a statement.
