Rodolfo Ragonesi (‘Brexit? What Brexit?’, March 20) regaled us with a full-page ‘academic’ view on all that is wrong in the UK and Brexit. It was one of many recent articles along the lines of paranoid Eddy Privitera’s rantings on all things not supporting the almighty Joseph Muscat.

Without picking holes in the article (as it would necessitate column inches along the lines of Privitera’s weekly ramblings), I will cut to his last paragraphs. In layman’s terms he says the government and the Opposition should work together. Tell that to comrade Jeremy Corbyn.

Is it, perhaps, the same here in Malta? Let’s put our own house in order first, please.
