Frank Salt Real Estate is sponsoring one of Malta’s leading water polo clubs, Sliema ASC, for the 2019 water polo season once again. Grahame Salt, director of the Frank Salt Real Estate Group, signed the sponsorship agreement with Sliema ASC president Frank Testa in the presence of Kevin Saliba, vice president, Christian Saliba, club secretary, John Soler, technical director, Sergio Afric, coach of Sliema ASC seniors water polo team, team players Nicholas Bugelli, Michael Spiteri Staines, Jerome Gabarretta and Mark Meli and Frank Salt Real Estate directors.

“Combining Sliema ASC’s ambition to win Malta’s top water polo honours, together with Frank Salt Real Estate’s 50-year experience, is a perfect partnership which will be mutually beneficial to both parties,” said Dr Testa.

“Water polo is one of the most sought after and highly competitive sports in Malta, so renewing our commitment with this club was an obvious choice,” said Mr Salt.  “In the same way as a water polo club works as a team, we, at Frank Salt Real Estate, also boast a dynamic team approach to provide a full service to our many clients, with dedicated and highly trained consultants.”

In January, Sliema Frank Salt Real Estate had announced the signing of Gavril Subotic as one of the new foreign players for the coming season. Subotic comes highly recommended as one of the rising talents of Serbian water polo and has just won the Russian Cup with Russian giants Dynamo Moscow.

He was also crucial in Serbia’s Junior World Championship victory in 2015, scoring five goals in the 13-12 final win against Italy.

He joins the experienced Norbert Hosnyánszky, the fourth most capped player ever for the Hungarian national team, having played 258 matches for his country, winning Olympic and World Championship Gold medals in the process.
