In the last few months Wirt Għawdex has been asked by its members and the public about its position with regards to the proposed tunnel linking Gozo to Malta. Before a formal position is taken by the organisation, Wirt Għawdex will be holding an apolitical debate about the issue on Monday at 6.30pm at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria.

Speakers and stakeholder organisation representatives of differing views have been invited to present their opinions and information. Wirt Għawdex hopes such a session will address many of the questions still outstanding and will help all those present form an informed opinion.

In the second half of the session, the audience will be given an opportunity to put forward their questions and comments. The public is invited to attend and participate in the debate.
