The 13th edition of Gaulitana: A Festival of Music continues with two events.  The first event kicks off at 11.30am with A Musical Journey: 18th to 21st century by Giuseppe Fricelli and Daria Aleshina Piano Duo, Italy/Russia at the Ministry for Gozo Hall in Victoria. The piano duo returns to the festival with a lunchtime concert including works for four-hands by Mozart, Beethoven and Moszkowski.

The second event for the day is The Singing Violin by Dino De Palma, violin and Claudia D’Ippolito, piano, at the Ministry for Gozo Hall, Victoria at 7.30pm. The concert features the Italian duo in renditions of Grieg’s Sonata No. 3 together with Paganini’s Variazione sul Mosè di Rossini, among other works.

Tomorrow the events continue with Tea Party with the Musicals (Musicalive series) by soprano Ruth Sammut Casingena, soprano and pianist Ramona Zammit Formosa at the Grand Hotel, Mġarr at 4.30pm.  This event promises to be yet another event merging music and food in an enjoyable setting.
