Renowned British writer, historian and broadcaster James Holland will be giving a lecture about Malta’s crucial role in World War II. 

The talk, entitled ‘Fortress Malta: An Island Under Siege (1940-1942)’, will be held inside the ballroom of the Phoenicia Hotel in Floriana tomorrow. The talk will be followed by a meet-and-greet with the author, drinks and canapés, as well as an optional VIP dinner. 

Profits will go towards the Save Valletta’s Skyline Appeal, which aims to raise €8 million to fund vital restoration work on the tower, spire and structure of St Paul’s Anglican Pro-Cathedral.
