The Ramblers’ Association is holding its midweek walk tomorrow around the Mosta countryside. The meeting spot is Tarġa Gap next to Mcast at 2pm.

The walk of four hours will follow the Victoria Lines to Dwejra on to Wied il-Qlejja (Chadwick Lakes), returning by way of Wied Speranza. It is a moderately hard walk on rough terrain.

On Sunday there will be a long and moderately hard ramble of some five hours, which can be cut short at various points at will at bus-stops encountered on the way. It leaves the Mġarr ferry terminal upon arrival of the 8.15am trip from Ċirkewwa. Many hills and valleys are traversed as the walk takes in Għajnsielem and Nadur, Xagħra, Marsalforn, Qbajjar and Żebbuġ. This is not a walk for the faint-hearted.
