FELICE. On March 12, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIA of Balzan, passed away peacefully at the age of 90, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She will be greatly missed by her husband Joseph, her children Anton and his wife Marthese, Mario and his wife Susanne, Anna Marie and her husband Graham, her grandchildren, her great-grandson Harry, her sisters Ina Vella Gera and Alda Pantallaresco, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Thursday, March 14 at 8am, for Marija Annunzjata parish church, Balzan, where funeral Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Moviment Ġesu fil-Proxxmu, Victoria, Gozo, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
GELLEL. On March 11, at Loyola House, Naxxar, Fr LAWRENCE GELLEL, SJ, aged 97, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Mother Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brethren in the Society of Jesus in Malta, his relatives and friends in Malta and in four parishes in New York. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated today at 4pm at the community chapel of Loyola House, Naxxar, followed by interment at the parish cemetery, Naxxar. No flowers by request but donations to the Jesuit Infirmary for aged and sick Jesuit Fathers and Brothers will be greatly appreciated. May he rest in the peace of the Risen Lord.
MONTANARO GAUCI. On March 10 at Mater Dei Hospital, JOAN ANTIDA née Scerri, of St Julian’s, aged 79, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Gerald, her sons Antony and Michael and his wife Lisa, her beloved grandchildren Michael, David, Robert, Jeremy and Albert, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Thursday, March 14, at 8.15am for St Gregory parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.45am followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

Fondly remembered and greatly missed by his wife Jeanette, his son Michael and his wife Daniela, his mother Doris, his sister Bertha, wife of Anthony Darmanin, and his mother-in-law Marie-Louise Saliba. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
