CAUCHI. On March 3, at Pax et Bonum Home, Mosta, GEORGINA, of Gżira, aged 94, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her in-law Vira, widow of her brother Toni, nephews and nieces John and his wife Monica, Tony and his wife Ena, Roy widower of Carmen and Anna and her husband Martin, the children of her cousin Gemma; Charles, Paul, Mario and Ivan, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Pax et Bonum Home, Mosta, today, Monday, March 4, at 1.30pm for St Joseph the Worker parish church, Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

FARRUGIA. On Sunday March 3, at his residence in Siġġiewi, ANNUNZIATO of Tarxien residing in Siġġiewi, aged 86, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss, his beloved wife Rita, his daughter Josette and her husband Noel Vassallo, grandchildren Christabelle and André, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The Funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, March 5 at 1.30pm for St Nicholas Parish Church, Siġġiewi, where mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by interment in the family grave at Siġġiewi. Donations to Dar tal-Providenża, Siġġiewi will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

FARRUGIA. On March 1, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARY ANNE (aka Mary), née Formosa, widow of Joseph Farrugia, aged 95, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her son-in-law Frankie Caruana, widower of her daughter Emma, their son John, her brothers Lawrence and John members of ‘Museum’, Carmel and his wife Dorothy, her sister Thérèse, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Tuesday, March 5 at 1.30pm for San Ġwann parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza will be greatly appreciated. Her family would like to thank the staff of Casa Leone where she resided, as well as the staff of ward M.A.U. 2, Mater Dei Hospital for the care and dedication shown during her stay there. Lord, grant her eternal rest. The family is unable to receive visitors.

LITTERI – AUGUSTO. On March 3, at his residence, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his wife Mary Anne, his sister Ketty wife of Gino Rapisarda, his Brothers Giuseppe and Gino, in-laws Joseph, Margot and her husband Richard Mallia, Adrian and his wife Tania, Anna, nephews, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital Wednesday, March 6, at 08.45am for St John of the Cross parish church, Ta’ Xbiex, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 09.15am followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Movement and Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

SCHEMBRI. On March 2, at Mater Dei Hospital, OLIMPIA, nèe Caruana, aged 90, widow of Anthony, of Marsa, residing in Msida, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her three children, Jennifer, wife of Raymond Aquilina; Philip and his wife Lorraine; and Desmond and his wife Bernadette; her grandchildren Romuald and his wife Antoinette; Maria Paola and her husband Ishmael Cocker; Kristian; Annalise and her fiancé Daniel; Joseph and his partner Donna; great-grandchildren Alexander and Edward Paul, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Thursday, March 7, at 8am, for St Francis church, Villambrosa, Ħamrun, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord grant her eternal rest.
