Live Wire, the name for this exhibition, depicts the diverse feelings, styles and moods reflected in the exhibited artworks.

Whether in acrylics or oils, the styles are according to the mood of the artist at the time of painting, while the variety and strength of colours reflect his intensity of feelings. The design in all works is an element of drawing which controls the images and actions. All these elements, together with the technique employed, show the state of observance and disposition of the artist vis-à-vis the subject.

Cauchi is qualified in youth psychology and an avid reader of mythology and history. He shows his different moods wrap themselves around these three pillars which form his philosophy and strong feelings in art.
