The Gordan Lighthouse is currently being restored by the government with an investment of €200,000. The first phase of the regeneration project is expected to be completed this year. The lighthouse was built by the British in the 1850s and is situated 160 metres above sea level in the limits of Għasri, affording breathtaking views.
