Senegal’s fishing grounds are amongst the richest in the world. But in recent years, fish stocks have plummeted due to commercial fishing by foreign ships from Europe and Asia. As the fish disappear, tensions rise between local fishermen and foreign trawlers competing for a depleting resource.
