As the Aurora Opera House stage transforms itself into an intimate theatre factory, the Aurora juniors are tomorrow presenting a fun-filled mini-concert with some of the favourite tunes of childhoods present and past. The evening does away with the normative conventions of a theatre and dilutes the barrier between on-stage and backstage in a stint to showcase the children’s acquired skills in producing, stage-managing, and all that a production entails.

It’s an event for all the family... for big children and young children... for the children of today, of yesterday and especially for ‘the children within us’ before they decide to grow up!

The concert includes favourite tunes from Les Misérables, Oliver, Matilda, Zecchino d’Oro, Beauty and the Beast, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Wizard of Oz and Mamma Mia.

Before We Grow Up is being presented at the Aurora Opera House tomorrow at 7.30pm. Entrance is free of charge. Seating is on a first-come-first-served basis as the audience will be hosted on the Aurora main stage, in an intimate theatre setting. People who just decide to walk in for the show are welcome. However, prior reservation is recommended. The mini-concert is expected to last 70 minutes.
